Agency to Build
A note on turning clarity into code, media, capital, community, ritual, and tools.
Core idea
Agency to build is the modern meta-skill. It is the ability to convert perception into artifact: a note, a prototype, a room, a ritual, a model, a memo, a product, a fund, a dinner, a tool.
AI makes this more available, but availability is not agency. Agency requires taste, courage, judgment, and the willingness to ship the small true thing.
What gets built
The artifact does not need to be impressive. It needs to make the next layer of reality clearer.
Sometimes the artifact is code. Sometimes it is a spreadsheet. Sometimes it is a conversation guide, a shared doc, a retreat rhythm, or a better question.
How to apply this
Choose one idea that has been living only in conversation. Give it a form before the week ends.
The form should be small enough to finish and useful enough to test.
